Thanksgiving & Baby Dedication

We had a great Thanksgiving this year with lots of good food and company with our friends, Darren, Kryssa, and Tegan, Laura, Mary, and Tom. Gabe got to eat some turkey too, but his came from a jar :) (Unfortunately we forgot the camera on Thanksgiving, so we don't have any pictures)
We spent Friday and Saturday shopping for deals and working on projects around the house. On Sunday, we had baby dedications at Mars Hill Church and Gabe was dedicated. I had a lot of fun dressing him up like his daddy. Tegan was dedicated on Sunday as well.
I hope to get some more pictures up soon... I just keep forgetting to bring the camera with me.

We've taken several videos of Gabe in the past few weeks and finally gotten around to getting them on the computer. Here's a couple:

Mommy's Little Helper

Gabe is a very busy boy and is interested in anything and everything that is not a baby toy. He spends his day following mommy around the house and helping with the everyday tasks. I took photos yesterday to document his day. He helped clean the bathroom and inspected the bathtub, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher, swiffered the carpet, and helped with drying and folding the laundry. In between these activities, he inspected the heater vents, "read" a magazine, played with all the dresser drawer handles, had a short nap, ate lots of solids, and helped give Annie a bath.
(Sorry the pictures aren't really in order, I kind of stink at blogging)

Little helper

Gabe likes to hang out in the kitchen with mommy. Usually the dishwasher is the coolest place to hang out, but today he found the paper towel holder and discovered how amazing it was.

First tooth

Gabe finally started to get his first tooth about a week ago and it is slowly coming through his bottom gums. He's been a little crankier than usual, but not too bad. Hopefully a few more teeth will come soon so he can enjoy some new types of foods. He loves solids---all of them, we haven't found anything that he won't eat :)
